Is there any app or any way that i can see the status of my caps lock, num lock keys on-screen. That is if ‘caps lock’ is on it should notify me on-screen. I tried lock keys but installation was too complex. Or is there a way i can easily enable this feature in OpenSuse. I use version 11.1.
Hi
If you using Gnome, there is a prebuild rpm;
http://software.opensuse.org/search?baseproject=openSUSE%3A11.1&p=1&q=lock-keys-applet
Else have a read here;

The “lock-keys-applet-1.0-4.1.i586.rpm” cannot be found. I installed “lock-keys-applet-1.0-2.1.i586.rpm” but then software manager suggests upgrade to 1.0-4.1 and obviously fails. No luck with the latest .ymp either.
Someone needs to fix the link.
Hi
The link works fine here, I would say the mirror your being redirected
too doesn’t have it.
Try one of the mirrors that have a / for BS homes;

This depends on your desktop environment, what are you using Gnome or KDE?
I use GNOME
