So installed openSUSE 13.2 dual boot with Windows 7 professional on my netbook Lenovo S10 with LXDE. So far so good except it can’t update, refresh repos. The output is “Valid Metadata not found at specified URL”. It happened on all my repos. Any solution?
My repos are:
1.OSS
2.Non-OSS
3.Update-OSS
4.Update-Non-OSS
I will display the output of zypper lr -d later when I turn on the netbook.
Possibilities:
- Your repos are misdefined. This is unlikely if they were configured by the install.
- You are not connected to a network.
- Your network is filtering http: requests, and you will need to setup a proxy definition for it to work. Consult your network administrator about such issues.
It would have been better if you firts would have done that. We realy can not work on your assumptions/conclusions. We want to see computer facts.
1.It’s repo setup by the installation.
2.I’m connected to the network via lan
3.But strangely my computer connected to the same router and no problem at all with the repos but my netbook has a problem with the repos
Can the netbook see external sites? For example can you do:
ping yahoo.com
from the netbook, and do you get ping responses? (You can use CTRL-C to end the “ping”).
Yes. When I log out or reboot the netbook, it can refresh or update the repos somehow.
