Can't update my leap btrfs raid1 système

Hi
I have a hard raid1
on this I had btrfs with one unique / partition. it is running leap 15.4
Yast update was impossible, so i reformat my DD backup and restore with different FS
on my new machine a file system / with btrfs and and /home ext4 partition
I want to update because i have http serveur instead of re-install which erase all file
and i have test to update with 15.6 and … !!! yast did’nt see /brtfs , only ext4 home
grrrr
how can update ???
Best

Hi
I found that
https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/how-to-upgrade-opensuse-using-the-cli/
is this will update correctly my btrfs partition ?

You won’t be able to update a Leap 15.4 system. Support stopped half a year ago.

i can update with my iso file leap15.6 on my USB card !!
a nice yast menu with update option …
as i said it look like brtfs are’nt see with yast this is not in relation with the version on my machine !

That is not an update of 15.4. It would be an upgrade to 15.6.

But I think it is not supported to “jump over” 15.5. Better first go to 15.5 and then later (a few months) to 15.6.

Updating has nothing to do with the file system used.

Please show

lsblk -f

I give tou you a screen shot who show the same thing
but …

lsblk -f

It is now difficult to read.

But I see md126p1 with a Btrfs file sytem used as / and I see md126p2 with a Ext4 file system used for /home .
I also see md126p3 used for Swap and md126p7 used for the EFI partition.

So what is the problem?

Best regards

I answer in French to be precise
I beg your pardon… we are both right!!
I tried to update from 15.4 to 15.5 a year or two ago and I had this problem
as I had only one partition I waited for the right moment to do this big backup operation and re-format my RAID1 with a separate /home partition, as has always been the case
so when I saw that I had the same problem with 15.6 I deduced that it was a problem with Yast
but I take opinions into account and therefore…
I launched the upgrade with 15.5
and MIRACLE Yast sees the partition and there now while I write to you the update from 15.4 to 15.5 is on the way
Best regards

Nice it works. Bon voyage avec openSUSE!

Hi
