Can't shut down

Hello all,

I noticed a weird problem on my parents computer (KDE desktop).
I can only shut down the computer when I first log out the current user.
A ‘direct’ shut down via start menu -> shutdown - doesn’t do anything.

I checked System Settings -> Startup & Shutdown -> Desktop Session.
Only thing enabled is “Start with empty session” under “On Login” section.
Everything else is disabled.

How can I make the shutdown button work again ?

TIA
Bart

OK nvm, I found out what it was - you must enable “Offer shutdown options” under General,
than select an option under “Default Leave option”. That was simple enough :stuck_out_tongue:

Just weird that there’s no visual indication or that a button doesn’t do anything because of settings like these.

Those are not normal setting someone had to set them
