Can't send email to factory from Gmail

I am not able to send a message to factory from Gmail.
I am sending plain text
Gmail is apparently attaching HTML to my emails?
Here is the last reject message.

Trying to create some NFS mounts in YAST hangs at 50% and does not continue
 or recover.
Create entries to fstab but renders system unbootable even in recovery mode.

I have no useful other data and am a complete newbie to testing so I can't
really create a bug report against the new ruby YAST

What do I need to do?

Nope, you are sending html.

Tell the gmail interface to really send flat plain text mails. I seldom
use webmail, so I don’t remember where exactly to click.

Ok, I tried it. It is bottom right corner, more options, plain text
mode. It works.

I’ve been doing that.
I switched my signature off.
It seems Google appends HTML to the plain text message if you have the signature turned on.
I also switched encoding to UTF-8.

Is your signature plain text? If not, gmail probably switches html on.

I gave up and switched to opera for sending mail to the ML’s

I use Pine (plus postfix), and sometimes Thunderbird. I used webmail
only when I was on vacation without my own computer.

An alternative is… what’s the name…? Can’t remember, but there is an
nntp gateway done by a third party. I think Jim used that, might be
mistaken.

Going to experiment with it as the worst that can happen is I get bounce messages.
I really don’t want to go back to locally hosted email.
The access anywhere with any device with little hassle is worth it to me.

Thanks for the suggestions

Use a mail client with IMAP support then. That’s what IMAP is designed for.

Oh? That’s news to me. Curious.

Pre- My netbook, I always used Thunderbird.
But TB is heavy on the netbook, so I switched to opera. They both carry everything in one . folder which makes it easy.

Yeah, not on news.gmane.org, but on gmane.org itself.
