When i run SUSE 11.0/kde3.9… it fail to show my screen. it all black. i can see little small line of color at the top. but i cant do anything. i can hit ctrl+delete to restart it. but it still show the same thing. if i run the fail start… my mouse dose not work. it show everything else just find. the last time i used SUSE was two day ago… it was running just find… now i cant see my screen. it all black… can someone help me out hear??? and yes i make sure i update it when it need it.
when you reboot and you get to Grub use the failsafe instead of the default choice. that way you will get to your desk top
it sounds like a driver prob have you made any changes to your video drivers ?
OOOps I see tha tyou aready tryed fail safe must be an xorg.conf problem I would look at that also see if you have a backup xorg.conf and try to load that one instead
