When I’m going to select an image I cannot see the image preview in the dialog window. I used to see it but I don’t know what happened but I can’t see anymore

Maybe you use some application program for that? And maybe that is part of or running in a Desktop Environment?
Any problems in telling us which DE and which application? Might help us to understand your situation.
