It’s been a long time that I find I can’t save login info for the next visit of the forum.
I have to input username and password every time I open the forum. Is it designed like this or I missed something big?

It is designed like that.
But I leave open one window on the forums from morning to evening (iconized, no need to see it) and that will keep the login open.
Alright. It is really unique though.

It’s been discussed a number of times in this forum and in the forums
feedback forum. The credentials used here are used in other systems as
well (which, among other things, is how they weren’t compromised in the
recent hack), so there are security concerns beyond this particular forum.
