-=WELCOME=- new poster, but:
-what did you download (source or rpm)?
–if you tried the deb, then try the generic RPM instead
–if you tried the generic RPM, then instead try the source.
–if you tried the source, then what errors came during compile?
–what version of Mbuni did you download
-how did you install it? (rpm command/YaST/make install)
-does your openSUSE system meet all the requirements listed in the
Mbuni documentation?
-did you apply required patches?
-did you set up Mbuni to run as a MMS or VAS gateway
-what did mbuni.org say about the problems you had with their software?
-which log file did you post from (openSUSE or Mbumni’s)?
also, please state:
-what version of openSUSE are you using
-if using a desktop environment, please state which and its version
-your experience level with Linux
Although an MMS gateway is an interesting idea, I wonder if more currently maintained alternatives exist.
AFAIK the MMS protocol and basic concepts haven’t changed much during that time and maybe mbuni can still deliver functionality today, but at the very least libraries likely will have changed radically over that time.
Just curious what kind of problem you’re trying to solve by running an MMS gateway?

2011-03-31 v1.5.0 released! see ChangeLog for details
that’s 2 years ago and a bit. But, the devel mail list had 3 posts in
2012, none later. The users mail list had mails last May (just two
emails in 2013, perhaps two dozens in 2012).
If not dead, it is dying.

i have opensuse12.2
i installed mbuni 's source not rpm and when i tried to run it as a VAS (typing mmsbox …parameters command) it shows the messages i posted above.
im sure the problem isnt in the compiling phase, it compiled successfully…
i installed it with make install and installed the patches ( i guess only AMR needs a patch, no?)
(mbuni-1.5.0 version)
