I am convinced that it worked in KDE 4.1, but I can’t mount cds in KDE 4.2. I have a CD-RW and a DVD-ROM drive, I’ve added audio and cdrom groups to user. When I insert a disk no mention in device notifier or dolphin, it works in KDE3 K3B and in lancelot under “computer” there is an “unmounted” entry; when I click on it though I get “The requested device can not be accessed.” nothing in kscd either.
