cant play videos from online sources using Chromium or Firefox

I am no longer able to play videos from online sources, says can’t find html5 file??? also can’t find flash for either web browser

I get followiing error when I try to paly a video

Have you followed the sticky to set up multimedia for your system?

Do you have chromium-ffmpeg?
Do you have the pepper flash plugin for chromium?
Have you installed flash (needed for firefox)?

If you follow the multimedia guide you’ll get all that stuff.
