Can't play streaming video on websites

I can’t seem to play video on the CNN website. Advertisements play fine, but afterwards, the video news clip won’t play. I tried clicking on the Play button, but nothing happens. I’m using Chromium 50.0.2661.102 (64-bit) on a laptop (Lenovo T540p).

I can play Youtube videos fine though.
