Can't play dvd

When I attempt to play a DVD is get the following error in VLC messages:
DVD disk reports itself with Region mask 0x00fe0000. Regions: 01

Can anyone tell me how to get movie DVDs to play in 15.3?

But, please be aware of – <https://www.videolan.org/legal.html&gt;.
And, the openSUSE view – <https://en.opensuse.org/Restricted_formats&gt;.
