Can't open documents on Samba share

Hi,

When I try and open MS Office documents on a Samba share from OpenOffice 3.1.1. I get a message:

You can only select local files

Just wondering if anyone has seen this?

try mount samba share with “nobrl” option.

Hi,

Thanks for the guide… I followed that and it worked. Just added an entry to fstab. I didn’t think I needed to even add an entry to fstab as you can browse to the share in Dolphin using the Network option, it seems to be only a viewer though. To use it properly with OpenOffice it looks like you have to mount it.
