Open a terminal (System->Terminal->Konsole) and enter the name of the program there – i.e., start the program “manually” from the terminal prompt, instead of clicking the launch icon in the K-menu. You should get some error messages that will help you diagnose what’s wrong.
Hint: if you aren’t sure of the program’s executable name, right click on the K-menu, choose “menu editor” and you can find it there. Write it down, then go back to the terminal and start it “manually.”

i installed virtualbox ose and it doesen’t open
and i installed avg pro and it’s not listed anywhere

Maybe you should check the wiki pages if you want to use virtualbox. VirtualBox Installation - openSUSE.
Actually there is no problem with these applications, you just need to properly install it.
