Hey geckos,
Thats too weird.
Im running opensuse 13.1 KDE, with network enable everthing runs well fine, but after disabling it cant open a single program like Dolphin, open a game through Steam, with dolphin opened cant open a video through VLC.
Could it be some feature from opensuse that I didnt know?
Installed openSUSE 13.1 KDE through live-cd option download!
Thnx in advance! rotfl!

I have read one or two similar reports, only when using KDE. But I don’t
remember the cause at this moment…

Exactly how are you disabling the network??
Through network management applet in KDE panel.

is it the sane for all users?
if there is only one user, start another profile,
is it still the same for the new user?
