Hello.
This is my first post here. I searched and searched on the internet and could not find good help. So i figured why not give a try and register. Maybe the pro’s can help me.
I have litle experience whit linux. I’m using opensuse 10.3 whit a sata dvd writer (lite-on).
I have multiple problems whit K3B (i supose becose of my inexperience).
First of all when i try to continue a multisession, K3B dose not let me. It dose recognise the first sesion (i think). From the meniu: “Device\Media Info” it dose at least. And when i try to continue whit another sesion or try to wrtie the final one i get this error (i have chosen unix/linux + windows format but is the sam whit other formats as well):
“Could not determine size of resulting image file”. The Debug Output is: System

Second problem. I can not mound the multisesion data dvd that i wrote (i mean the one that i could not finish, only one sesion on it). It dose not mount automaticaly. I tried to mount it manualy as “su” whit the folowing commands:
“mount -t iso9660 -o ro /dev/disk/by-path/pci-0000:00:0f.0-scsi-1:0:0:0 /media”
“mount -t iso9660 -o ro /dev/sr0 /media”
I tried to mount them in different folders in home as well, no difference.
The error returned is:
“mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sr0,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so”
I tried “dmesg | grep sr0” i got the folowing: “sr0: CDROM not ready. Make sure there is a disc in the drive.” It is in the drive.
I tried “dmsg | tail” also, the mesage returned is:

And finaly I can not mount a finished full length data dvd. Same thing, no automount and same error on manual mount.
I think i have to mention that my dvd-s that i wrote in windows are mounted perfectly well.
