cant mount any partition

i would like to mount (xp partition)
but i get the error that “it” does not exist in fstab.

how do i mount? i did this;
(as root) mount /def/sda2

i am running 64_86

64_86 does not come into it. The syntax is:

mount <something> <somewhere>

You have done mount <something> which only works if the fstab file contains the necessary <something> <somewhere> entry to complete your partial command.
