Can't login LEAP 42.1

Hello there, I really wanted to get rid of win10 but after the installation I see the bootsplash and after that I can only see the wallpaper I think, it’s a gecko in a lightbulb or something.
It doesn’t show a login text or anything, with ctrl+alt+f1 I can log in as root or my user but that’s all, no DE.
Really makes me sad in a way, I just like the look and everything (tried it on virtualbox).
Anyway:

8GB ram
AMD HD7800 series

If you please have some suggestions, because I looked and cannot find anything

What graphic card?

Like I said in the first post, AMD radeon HD 7800 series. If I remember correctly is the 7850 2GB from gigabyte.
A thing that I forgot to mention is that I chose KDE during the installation

Can you boot with nomodeset?

At grub screen press e find line starting linux or linixefi go to true end of line (it wraps) add a space and nomodeset press f!0 to continue boot

If that works be sure to get all updates and you may want to install the AMD proprietary driver

Sorry that I wasted your time, but I really needed a working pc so I installed win back, so i couldn’t try the nomodeset, I hope to be back in some time!
