I don’t think your problem is anything to do with the restricted formats.
Tell us if you have auto login OFF and if you use kde or gnome?
I do think I have auto login OFF, have to login with username and password. I use kde 4.5

What exactly did you do? Details, please.

I can’t find any “kserver”, I don’t know what it could be. Google finds references to a learning
package, a hosting place, and a few other weird things.
Is that the exact message you got? Have installed something out of the distro, then what exactly?
Is that message before login? Where, exactly?

You could also boot from a live CD and inspect, move and delete from there, using GUI tools if you like.

Sorry, somehow I managed to post this on the wrong thread!

there should be a big sign at the factory door saying something like:
If you open this door you better know how to undo any damage you do
with the half baked, bug infested, ALPHA and BETA software inside.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED: There is little others can do other than (maybe)
help you restore.

Should be part of “kdebase4-runtime”. Try:
rpm -qa | grep -i kdebase4

From factory? Good lord! :-/
If you use factory, you must be prepared for disasters.

Doesn’t mean you have to install factory packages.
You need packman, not factory.
