I’m quite a newbie in the linux sector, so i’ll be happy to recieve much help as needed.
Finaly, i want to leave Windows and install OpenSuse. I download the Network version due the fact i do not have a dvd burner.
But, to my sorrow, i can’t install - The install process won’t recognized my wirless card (It’s a usb one) so i can’t connect to the net.
Also - When i try to load the Live CD i can’t get to the graphical part, i guess its got to do with the drivers or something like that but it also happen when i load the Vesa driver.
If you have a DVD reader at least you can either get the boxed set
(www.opensuse.org) or you can find a friend with a DVD burner and some
time to download. Regarding the LiveCD failure, I’m not sure. You
could also try the network install via a wired card if you had one…
would likely be simpler, and faster, and more-secure.
Good luck.
