everytime i try to install i get this error, i tried multiple times downlaoding the bootable file and then multiple times writing that to my usb stick (16gb) using rufus, balena etcher, tru terminal like the command mentioned on the documentation for linux and none of that worked i get this error, and one time i tried entering the emergency mode and typed lsblk and it listed my usb but the size listed is “0B” idk what is wrong that same usb worked fine while am done making it bootable (i checked) but now it says 0B, i got two ssds and one i got windows installed and other ssd is where i usually installl linux, i booted multiple distros with this usb even after this error i installed gnome os last night too it worked fine, i dont think usb is the problem here but let me know please, i really want a plug and play stock gnome look distro. forgot to mention that my bios setting set to uefi.

Use zcat and dd to create the bootable USB device, disconnect any drives with other operating systems and install on the single device.

uh yea i did follow this guide but don’t think i disconnected the drive before, wym by that tho how to do it? physically remove the ssd or what. sorry am a new learner 
Yes, the SSD disconnected from the system power and the SATA cable disconnected.
