that warning message right at start just appeared recently (dunno why its there)
my kernel version is 2.6.25.16-0.1
it is a custom built kernel, but the direct rendering didnt work with the out-of box suse 11.0 either
i hope it isnt because im using xfce
your drivers had direct render right after the installation?
could you also please do a check on you comp in yast2 to see what radeon packages you have installed?
i have only xorg-x11-driver-video-radeonhd
