I need readline-common prior to building the Sawfish window manager.
I’ve been looking for it in YaST2 - Install/Remove Software and also with zypper install readline-common.
I am using opensuse 12.1 x86_64.
Where can I find it?
I would of course use software.opensuse.org: Search
I searched with “readline” and it gives some results. I do not know if that what you want is amongst it.
readline-common is a debian package name, packages have often not
exactly the same name in different Linux distributions. The equivalent
in openSUSE is as far as I remember libreadline6, the equivalent to
readline-common-dev is readline-devel. If you build a software you need
the -devel package.
