cant enable my desktopo effects anymore also scrolling down windows in web is chopping a hell

i dont know what is going i used to have desktop effects and the scrolling down windows on the net was fast and fluid but started up my laptop today and its all choppy and slow with scrolling down when i grap windows and move them around its choppy also i now cant enable any of my effects

So, how about some more info about your graphics card and driver? I’m guessing that you had a proprietary driver installed…Did you do a recent update?

i have no idea sorry is there a command i can type into the command line to update my drivers manually

Well, I really wanted to see what graphics issues were reported by Xorg first beofre giving further advice. Read my first post re Xorg.0.log. (Don’t post the output here directly, cut and paste to the upload site I pointed you at. Then post the link that it gives you here).
