can't enable desktop effects

Hi all… I have just installed openSUSE11 Gnome x86! If I try to enable desktop effects then go out, when I return on that window, they are disabled.

what can I do?

It is possible you just need to install the proper drivers for your video card. You can verify your hardware is compatible with compiz here: Hardware - Compiz Fusion Wiki

You might want to take a look at this site: CyberOrg » Getting NVIDIA and ATI drivers on openSUSE 11.0.

It worked for me.

Reinstall Graphic Drivers.
