Cant connect to WPA2 Enterprise network - possible to connect to any other

Hi

I have freshly installed openSUSE 12.1 on my laptop HP 6555b. WiFi works out of box. I can connect to almost all networks, open, protected by WPA/WPA2 personal, WEP etc. No problems at all.

But i cant connect to eduroam at my university. When i select eduroam on networks list, configuration dialog appears. I’m configuring everything like i should, and press connect. Nothing happens, even network manager icon is still static (no connection), not that connecting animation. I hope you get what i mean.

After 15 or 20 seconds configuration dialog appears again, im pressing connect button, and everything repeats.

I’m able to connect to that network on windows and on fedora 14 (fedora was my previous os, changed 4 days ago). What’s wrong? Some packages are missing or what?

my wireless card is broadcom 4313.

WPA Enterprise works for me in 12.1 in Network Manager well (I’m using the KDE applet).

Did you choose the correct WiFi encryption mode? Select “WPA/WPA2 Enterprise” in “Wireless security” tab (the labels might be slightly different, I’m not running KDE in English right now). Then select the proper authentication method (in my case I have PEAP, but might be different in eduroam network) and put your user name and password to the fields at the bottom.

Yes, i have detailed instructions how to configure connection from university. Im sure im configuring it in right way.

What is most interesting for me, that networkmanager is not showing that animated icon near clock as it does when im connecting to other networks. Is it even trying to connect?
