Can't connect to wireless network

Hi,

I just installed OpenSUSE 13.2 with KDE on my MSI CR61 laptop (dual boot with W8.1).
NetworkManager doesn’t auto-detect wireless networks, and when I manually add my home connection, it doesn’t want to connect either.

I’ve tried some stuff in YaS2, but I can’t seem to fix it. I don’t have much experience with Linux in general though.

I’d really like to be able to simply get a list of available wireless connections in the NetworkManager box.

Thanks!

I suggest you ask a moderator (using the triangle button) to move your
post to the wireless forum. And while that is done, have a look there
https://forums.opensuse.org/forumdisplay.php/676-Wireless at
the threads marked “sticky”, and follow the recommendations there.

Oh, I didn’t see that subforum. Thanks, will do.

Moving to wireless subforum, temporarily closed.
