I am using 10.1 SUSE, and have an HP 4110 printer on my home (Windows XP) network that works fine there. When trying to join the Linux computer for printing, it all shows installed properly (thru Cups etc.). However, when trying to print, get no activity to/from printer. Can anyone help?
10.1 is quite old and it will be really difficult for someone to help you with proper guidance to solve this problem.
Please check this link: HP Linux Imaging and Printing. It seems this model was never well supported and there is no installer for 10.1. However, it should be able to print at reduced quality with hplip.
