Can't configure sound card

Yast2 reports it’s a Sunrise Point-LP HD Audio sound card but then…

“The kernel module snd-soc-ski for sound support could not be loaded. This can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.”

Searching for “suse snd-soc-ski” produced nothing.

There is this thread in this forum https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/524027-skylake-audio-not-working

which points to https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Audio_troubleshooting
