Hi.
I have problem compiling package in my repo at OBS here. Can’t compile 32bit version, ended with:
E: mplayer-vaapi 64bit-portability-issue loader/ext.c:447
E: mplayer-vaapi 64bit-portability-issue loader/win32.c:2041
Thanks

Yes, that MPlayer is in the black list (openSUSE:Build Service application blacklist - openSUSE). You must remove it.
It’s x86-32 only code… not a real problem that it isn’t 64 bit portable.
“#!BuildIgnore: post-build-checks” should disable the checks.
Hi
MPplayer and derivatives are certainly a no go on OBS because of
codec patents. You would need to build locally and remove from the OBS.
Else you could talk to the packman people about adding it there.
As to the error, suggest you try a local build using osc and see if it
occurs (Hopefully you have a 64bit machine?)

Thanks for your help with this compiling works fine. I remove mplayer package as soon as possible.
Hello Hellgast, can you upload somewhere the mplayer-vaapi source rpm or the spec file?rotfl!
Hi hellgast.
I installed your xvba-video-amd rpms. I was hunting for your mplayer and couldn’t find it. I assume that its been removed per other forum members notes below.
I also noticed that you were on VLC looking for the vaapi backend as well. any success getting mplayer, xbmc, vlc etc with vaapi working?
FYI I’ve an ATI Radeon 2500HD card on an Asus laptop. I don’t have much experience building/debugging source, but I’d be happy to test stuff out.
Thanks
