I’m trying to figure out how to change my computer’s name, i think it’s called the host name, i usually do this in the installation process but it didn’t give me the option.
Right now in the terminal it says @linux-uy0y:~> how do i change this?
Yast –> Network Devices –> Network Settings

Yast -> Networking
There’s a “hostname options” tab in which you set the hostname.

The above posts are correct,
In some situations, if you want to resolve the local machine’s Hostname locally, you should not forget to also check the box on the page that writes an entry to the local Hosts file.
