Can't change hostname

My hostname is linux-33ff. I went into Hostnames in YaST and changed 127.0.0.2’s hostname and host alias to Caesium (since it was the only one with the hostname and host alias linux-33ff), but it didn’t work. Everything except the host configuration dialog says linux-33ff. Please help.

That won’t work because of Network Manager.

I changed my hostname during the installation and it’s using traditional method.

I was unable to use manual configuration and was thus unable to set my own hostname.

How do I change the hostname using Network Manager? I can’t find the option anywhere.

Hi
No? Just browse to the hostname tab, if it’s grayed out, just enable
traditional ifup, make your changes and then re enable the network
manager radio button and save.

Disregard that last post, I made it at the same time malcomlewis was posting. I feel like a moron now though; I completely passed over those two blasted radio buttons (I hate it when I do that)!

Thanks for the help!
