Can't Burn Tumbleweed to DVD?...

Hi,

I’m running the latest version and updates of openSusu Leap 42.1 and I downloaded the current snapshot of Tumbleweed “openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-Snapshot20161003-Media.iso” from “http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/iso/openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-Current.iso.mirrorlist” and “https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Tumbleweed_installation” and I keep getting this error message from K3B:

What is my problem?

Thanks!..

Try setting the Writing Mode to DAO. Weird message though, you should have cdrecord > 3. in Leap. Can you post output from

zypper lr -d
rpm -qa | grep cdrecord

Hi Knurpht, this is what I get:

nothing here…

That looks normal. Also the fact that cdrecord is not installed ( it’s not on my Leap install either ).

Did you try setting “Writing Mode” to “DAO” ?
