Hello, I’ve installed openSUSE 11, it’s working ok when I’m booting without the Twinhan PCI DVB card, but as soon as it is started with it, it hangs on autodetecting it. It is detected as Bt878 card, but crashing right after. Anyone experienced similar problem with it? Is there any way (I suppose there’s hundreds of ways) to stop it from autodetecting it? I’m still using it sometimes under WinXP, so wouldn’t like to take it out of the PC, also it would be nice to force it to work with SUSE… Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hi
I’m guessing it’s probably trying to load a module and causing the
crash. If you know the module, then you add to the blacklist
temporarily.
Not sure but this link may help;

in addition to what Malcolm said, you could also try the Mantis driver from here:

Careful, it patches an awful lot of drivers
