To stop it use, Ctrl+c

Cheers, so much to learn!

Ok glad your back up and running as for the error not sure, but you’re fixed. The errors maybe as suggested by having something from a repo that dup couldn’t replace nicely. Try the verify if that comes back clean may find that you have repo keys that don’t quite add up.

I’ve not really encountered it and only have a crude understanding of key management, but in yast software conf you have a tool you could try to remove them(shrug). Next time the repo is refreshed iirc you’ll be asked again if you wish to add them. May even need to remove all repos and keys then add them back all in again(Another Shrug).

I came across a similar in regards to key management yesterday, but it eventually solved its self so didn’t play further than removing it.

I think I’m just gonna not touch anything for a little while.
Appreciate your help, have a nice day!

NP I don’t blame you

As for what you’ve done think of it as a learning curve in the future what you’ve been through will assist with most problems. As you noticed you have access to yast from there most things can be fixed.

Thinking further and only a vague error I suspect you have accepted to install something that doesn’t have a key or you have something installed to which you no longer have the key for. A small error I suspect with some command line magic you could work it out. It may even be as simple as reinstalling a package from a certain repo.(But if you’re back to the first 4 mentioned may not be worth it)(Though imo I think there is a couple of others which cause little trouble)

Those one clicks can be dangerous they tend to add all kinds of repos, if you have the 4 the most of the time you can find what you’re looking for using yast. Just add repos carefully.
