cannot write to windows XP drive from 11.2

File manager shows my D drive locked and my C drive is not locked. I cannot therefore paste to the D drive. I tried chmod as root however the change is not made!

How does one “unlock” the folder?

The link caf4926 posted should help you but just FYI, you can’t chmod or chown NTFS drives because NTFS is a microsoft filesystem, not responsive to standard Linux commands.
