cannot switch from ifup to network manager

So network.service is working. Apparently you don’t have any wired connection now (enp4s0)?

As I already wrote: Please run the following to switch to NetworkManager:

sudo systemctl stop network.service
sudo systemctl --force enable NetworkManager.service
sudo systemctl start network.service

If there are any error messages, please post them with the stuff you typed.

And please also post the output of “systemctl status network.service” again afterwards.

So please post the output of this now:

sudo systemctl status network.service

The only “error” I see is this:

So try to remove /etc/resolv.conf and start network.service again:

sudo rm /etc/resolv.conf
sudo systemctl start network.service
