Hi all, I’ve been using SUSE for a long time now, but I recently decided to triple my OS experience and try some other Linux as well. I had to choose between Linux Mint6 and Solaris(Since I develop Java, I’m a Sun fan and a member.)I downloaded both CDs. Burnt the image, but when I tried to install, I get the same error, it’s obviously a Linux error. It’s starting some major things like dbus, daemon and stuff, then it tries to start “powernowd” and it stops… seems like processing, but without any effect, I left it for over 30 mins and it was still stuck at the same point.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. I posted on some other places as well but since the openSUSE community seems to be the most communicating and all that … I decided to ask you geeks, too.
