cannot start kde

After the last update with zypper this morning I cannot get the normal kde login. I could only start X11 and startkde gives the following message :

startkde: Could not start kdeinit4. Check your installation.

Something is obviously messed up.

Problem solved. Using icewm instaead of kde, I started yast2 and updated again some kde packages, rebooted, and things are back to normal. Still don’t know exactly what happened. It seems that the update through zypper and yast2 did not give the same result.
