Cannot send messages

linux 3.16.7-7-desktop x86_64
postfix

I create a message using the “mail” command. When it is sent, this message appears every 10 seconds. The same message is in /var/log/mail.err.

postdrop: warning: mail_queue_enter: create file maildrop/546331.4026: Permission denied

Hmm. Where is “./maildrop”? What user/group is postdrop?

Any suggestions for allowing message files to be created?
