Cannot login after latest KDE update (Factory Desktop)

I cannot login to any type of session at all.
After a correctlogin the screen just goes black shortly and then I see kdm again. I even tried changing the login manager to xdm, but then I just have a black screen on tty7.
Now I was forced to boot windows for the first time in ages and it’s horrrible >:(

This is what I can see when I open /var/log/messages

This happened to me yesterday, but after doing a “zypper up” tonight, I can log in again.

Also, yesterday, I was able to use GDM to access KDE, Gnome, and other desktops.

(Running 4.4.61 KDE 4.5 >= 20100217)

I just updated KDE to 4.4 in openSUSE 11.1 by replacing the Core, Community and Playground repositories from STABLE to Factory and did a “Zypper dup”.
After that KDE does not startup anymore. After “init 5” I do see some initialisation in kdm going on. The NVIDIA splash screen appears and just a few seconds the mouse pointer as a small circle, but after that I get back to the console. In /var/log/messages the error message is “kdm … Received unknown or unexpected command -2 from greeter” and “kdm … Abnormal termination of greeter for display :0, code 127, signal 0”
