When I try to download some security updates from Online update, I get this error:
Media source ‘http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Factory/standard/’ does not contain the desired medium
It’s been doing this for a while now, bout a week or so. Is it just the repo being down, or is it something I need to change on my end?

That link no longer works. You need to go into your repository list and update the link for the one that is broken.
Depending on which OS dist. you have. If you have 11.0, start looking here.
Index of /distribution/11.0/repo/oss/suse
Open the link in a browser window and see if you can locate the repo for your system.
