Hi everyone!
I have recently installed Leap 15.3. It has been weeks and there are no update prompts for my applications. Nor do any updates show up when I use YaST.
Anybody else having a similar issue and found a way around it?

Possibly you should post the result of this
zypper lr -d

Update repositories ‘appear’ to be enabled.
Your GPG column show “GPG” heading and (r) in column for activated repros.
Mine shows heading "GPG CHECK " and “(r) Yes” in all activated columns.
Have you installed the GPG keys for the repositories?
You really need to clean up that repository list. Perhaps you’ve been “over enthusiastic” with one click installs?
Some of those URLs return a 404 error, for example: https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/SUSE:/SLE-15-SP3:/GA/pool/
I’d disable all but the default 15.3 repositories, see if a zypper update then works, if so, decide what of the remaining repositories you actually need and progressively reinstate them.
Why would you have all those repos
I think I have quite a lot at 13
In my Tumbleweed install many would say it is a lot.
Thing is. I know why they are there. Do you?
We have another case where, the machine’s administrator performed a “1-click-install” –
AFAICS, for the openSUSE Leap 15.3, the only two SUSE SLE-15 repositories needed are –
AFAICS, you can safely remove the “SUSE:SLE-15-xxx” repositories –
Sorry for the late response. Was away.
I deleted all “SUSE:SLE-15-xxx" repositories and did zypper refresh --force. Did not give any errors.
After that I did sudo zypper update, and zypper found new packages to update (actually many).
The xfce4 updater applet did not yet yield anything, but I guess it will eventually.
Thank you for your help! I will keep you updated if the system offers me updates.
It has been my experience that the various desktop update applets don’t always work reliably, especially if there are package conflicts.
I prefer to logout of the desktop GUI, switch to a virtual terminal and perform an update using zypper. For leap I normally do that once every two weeks or so, although often there’s no update to be performed.
Yes, agree, but, at least for the case of the KDE Plasma Update Plasmoid, if there’s a conflict – doesn’t seem to happen too often – it complains in a reasonable fashion and, in the worst case, only Zypper from a CLI can resolve the issue …
