Cannot fetch git because wrong password save on password pop up

Hi all,

I just upgrade from OpenSuSE 42 to Leap 15.0.

I install git try to fetch my repo, then a password dialog pop up ask me for password and followed by password dialog again, (I know the first you should put your user name but really this pop up says its name as password dialog).

I might put wrong user or password and choose to remember my choice and of course I can not fetch my repo.

And everytime I fetch the pop up does not ask , the terminal does not prompt me to enter user name and pasword ,and the git fetch just tell me authentication failed.

And now I have no choice to forget my password.

I delete ~/.kde4/share/apps/kwallet to no avail.

I delete ~/.local/keyrings to no avail.

How can I solve this ?

That’s from the prehistoric past.

Look in “~/.local/share/kwalletd” for kwallet data.
