Cannot Download OpenSuse 11 DVD: Not Enough Room Error

I am unable to download the OpenSuse 11.0 DVD iso image at all to my Vista powered PC. Using Firefox 3.0.3 the download starts and appears to proceed just fine until it nearly reaches the end. Then the download stops and a window appears with the message,

“Download Error: There is not enough room on the disk to save G:\Linux Images\openSUSE-11.0-DVD-i386.iso. Remove unnecessary files from the disk and try again, or try saving in another location.”

I’ve tried to download the image twice and each time received the same result. There is plenty of room on the target disk. 153 GB of free space should surely be able to accommodate a file under 5 GB in size. And I have had no problems downloading iso image files for other Linux distributions to the same drive.

How might I fix this problem?

This can’t be a FAT32 partition can it because it’s Vista. Unless you are saving to a separate partition of that type??

Never mind. Found the answer in another forum. I was trying to download to a FAT-formatted drive (it was formatted as a FAT drive so it was more easily accessible to both my Vista and Kubuntu systems). Discovered FAT-formatted systems cannot accept files in excess of 4 GB. Guess I’ll have to try a live CD version and install over my Kubuntu system from there.
