I’m just a regular linux user, trying to solve a problem that I didn’t had in previous opensuse releases.
I’m trying to open a torrent file with both Ktorrent and KGet and I get this error:
I’ve tried searching in google, and didn’t find any solution.
It seems the problem is in my external hard drive wich is NTFS formatted, because when I’m downloading it to my fixed drive (ext4) everything works fine, and there is no problem when i’m trying to download the same torrent in win.
Hm, it shouldn’t be the case, but some software has problems (bugs in fact) with blank space in file names. Thus the space in “My Book” could be the cause this. I suppose it is the label of the filesytem on the device. Can this be changed?
You could test by mounting manualy on a different named mountpoint and then test.
Sorry for the wait, wasn’t home lately…
It seems I have found a problem, it was in a broken file, seems if I start downloading it from Win machine then try to open in Linux, it worn’t work.
I found it when I tried to remove the folder with of the torrent, so it didn’t let me, then same thing happened to me in Win, so I made fix disk and now everything is working fine in openSUSE.
