can you use amd A series APUs?

I’d like to build a system running the amd a8 series apu, and im expecting it to work in some way or another with openSUSE (someone always finds a way to get something to work how well and how easily it does is more the question) but before i buy one i’d like to know a few things involving the two together.
Also I’m pretty new to openSUSE I’ve been running xubuntu for a while now but I’ve played with the openSUSE live cd for a long time on a virtual machine and I like how it looks, works, and acts more than ubuntu so I plan on running it on my new computer when I build it.

The first question is will i have to do anything…“special” to make the gpu part of it work or will it even work at all with linux because obviously i don’t want to spend extra money on this if the the gpu part of it isn’t even going to work.

Second, will the amd duel graphics that all the motherboards support work. Eventually i would like to add a graphics card just not right away, but if it turns out i can’t use the gpu in the processor with the graphics card then thats a deal breaker also.

Last (and probably least important) i would love to be able to run two graphics cards with the gpu in the processor. I know that crossfire works easily enough on ubuntu (i’ve never actually tried but I’ve looked into it) but is there any reason that crossfire wouldn’t with an apu or with openSUSE at all. If it doesn’t it be kind of depressing but I’d find a different mobo without crossfirex and save some money.

Thanks for taking the time to read my long story of questions
