I am aware this is a help and support forum, but I was curious about this thread on the EndeavorOS forum and I though it may be a great way to engage the community.
I this does not work for this forum that is ok, I was just curious.

I can’t downvote this suggestion hard enough.
There’s plenty of places on the internet for posting memes. Too darn many, I’d argue.
That being said, I could very well be in the minority.
I wouldn’t participate myself, but given the ability to ignore discussions, if someone wants to start that discussion here in “Open Chat”…nothing’s stopping that from happening.
It’s kinda the sort of thing that Open Chat exists for.
Not a fan… as long as they don’t breach the Forum Terms and Conditions…
A big NO from me. If I see how much of that cr@p I moderate out of other channels… just saying.
If this is the best in past 5 years …
I wonder what your motivation is.
Well, like I said, I don’t see a problem with it myself, though I’m not a fan of memes (and not going to participate myself), however I would say that the way that people have fun varies around the world, and I don’t think it’s particularly appropriate to question the “motivation” for trying to find ways to have fun.
Even bad ideas can lead to good ideas, and if we can come up with a good way of getting people interested in the community as a result, then I’m going to be in favor of it.
The project’s motto is “have a lot of fun”. So if it’s your jam and stays within the code of conduct and terms & conditions for participating, that’s fine.
Spend a couple of hours on the Discord openSUSE Chat …
Oh, yeah, the Discord or other “real live chat” areas are a different thing altogether.
Here it’s isolated like the screenshots thread (which I also don’t tend to follow).
