Can user names be removed from login screen drop-down list?

I am using openSUSE 11.3
Kernel Linux 2.6.34-12-desktop
GNOME 2.30.0
I would like to have each user type in there name and password and not have a drop-down list at start-up with all the user’s names, if that is possible.

Hi
Open a terminal then login as root user, then run the following command
all on one line;


sudo -u gdm gconftool-2 --set --type boolean /apps/gdm/simple-greeter/disable_user_list true
